Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 8 amβ6:30 pm. Newark is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Newark is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New Jersey's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This is a tire place, and when I came there the line was about 20 cars long going around the block. So this is a popular place. When my turn came after about a half an hour, I had one tire plugged quickly for $10 and I purchased a used tire for a spare which cost me $40. The prices were reasonable and when my turn came the service was quick and professional.

I've been going to Raymond's for YEARRRSS and the service just gets better and better. It doesn't matter if I have a nail in the tire, a slow leak etc the prices remain affordable. I have referred so many people to these guys and they never disappoint. Actually I will be going there tomorrow.

Came in to get an alignment and then noticed the steering wheel wasn't centered properly and the car steered towards the right when I would try to center the wheel while driving. The car drove worse after the alignment was done here. I came by the next day with a receipt to get it corrected but I waited for almost 2 hours and no one helped at all. It's a shame because I heard good things about this place maybe i just got unlucky. For $50 you get what you pay for it guess.
